MIRIAM HASKELL BRACELET, c.1960s, Robert Clark design. Large translucent Blue round faceted glass beads, tucked under gilt metal leaves that are traced with blue rhinestones. Multiple chains and rhinestone chains complete this sophisticated design.

MIRIAM HASKELL BRACELET, c. Robert Clark era. Large Flower shaped Amber glass colored bead, mounted with and extra large jonquil colored rhinestone, set in a bent gilt metal filigree. Robert Clark bent and shaped stampings to create height and depth. Bead strands are light and dark Amber faceted crystals.

Marked with oval cartouche back of box clasp.
Measures 7-1/2" with the central design measuring 1-1/8" wide 7/8" high.

MIRIAM HASKELL WRAP BRACELET, c.1930s. An Early Frank Hess Design of Pale Pink Beads sewn onto a Silk Mesh Cord. The Pink Beads in centerpiece are Flower shaped and are wired onto a lovely Goldwashed flower metal form. Clear Rhinestone accents around. Unsigned.

A Variation is in Harrice Miller's Book, Costume Jewerly, Second addition, pg.127. Purchased from Haskell Head Designer M. Petronzio.

MIRIAM HASKELL BRACELET and DRESS CLIP, c.1940. An early Unsigned Frank Hess design. Black Silk wrapped cord bracelet and coiled cord dress clip with carved green wood beads, large Tear shaped Wood beads and little Star shaped Wood beads in Green, Red, Blue, Yellow, and Brown.

Similar coiled pieces can be see in the Water Color Section of "Miriam Haskell Jewelry", pg. 104 and 105, as well as similar wood pieces on page 144 and 145. The bracelet has the button closure. Dress Clip has the WWII perforated plastic back. Clearly from the same line with very slight variation in size and color of the wood beads on the bracelet and clip.

DRESS CLIP


MIRIAM HASKELL BROOCH, c.1960s, Deep dimensions to the large and spectacular faceted crystal leaf Flower on Gilt metal stampings. The large faceted crystal leaves have an amber strip running through the center. Rhinestone accents are Deep aqua and Red Violet. 

The same brooch, in clear stones,  can be seen in the book, "Miriam Haskell Jewelry, pg. 205, by Gordon and Pamfiloff.

BROOCH, c.1960-1963. After Frank Hess retired from the Miriam Haskell company he joined forces with Josef Morton Glasser, Miriam Haskells nephew, and formed the Morton-Hess company.

Although  this piece is signed Josef Morton, the leaf stampings can be found on many old Haskells.
Measures 1-5/8".
Nice condition but has a patina commensurate with its age.

BROOCH, c.1963-1964, Frank Hess. Fine example of Frank Hess' work with beautiful gilt stampings, filigree, and green Art glass beads.

After Frank Hess retired from the Miriam Haskell company he joined forces with Josef Morton Glasser and formed the Morton Hess company. He left the company in 1963 and went to work for Kramer and formed a line called Amourelle.

Marked with the Amourelle heart.

MIRIAM HASKELL BROOCH, Late 1930s-Early 1940s Unsigned, Frank Hess design. This early design features the favored Nasturtium Antique silvertone stampings used in several lines through the 1940s. Marvelous detailing in Turquoise Art Glass beads. Solid metal.

A Nasturtium line with Goldtone leaves is displayed on page 131 of 'Miriam Haskell Jewelry' by Cathy Gordon and Sheila Pamfiloff.

This clip is featured on pg. 142 of 'Miriam Haskell Jewelry' by Gordon and Pamfiloff. An Ad showed this line in 'Women's Wear Daily' on May 21, 1937. Also, this line was featured in the 'Larry Austin Watercolors'. This construction shows that this popular line was sold over a number of years.

After Frank Hess retired from the Miriam Haskell company he joined forces with Josef Morton Glasser, Miriam Haskell's nephew, and formed the Morton-Hess company. Delicate Flower gilt stampings are accented with Citrine and Clear prong set round rhinestones.

MIRIAM HASKELL NECKLACE and EARRINGS, c. 1959, Frank Hess. A very rare, wonderfully detailed design with sparkling Rose Montees laced onto and outlining elaborate floral gilt metal stampings, with Large Clear rhinestone centers. 

Marked Miriam Haskell in a cartouche on the box clasp and on back of the ear clips .
Necklace measures 15-1/2", with a 1-3/4" centerpiece. Earrings measure an almost shoulder dusting 2-3/8" x 1-1/8"

MIRIAM HASKELL NECKLACE and EARRINGS, c.1960. Classic dimensional Robert Clark with citrine colored baguettes, rhinestones, gilt stampings and fancy shaped Rousselet pale amber and citrine colored beads.

Marked on an applied oval, hook and the back of the ear clips MIRIAM HASKELL.

MIRIAM HASKELL NECKLACE, Early 1940s. Unsigned Frank Hess design.  Aqua beads and clear pave rhinestones. The back has the WW II  perforated plastic back. No clasp. Necklace pulls over the head.

Similar designs can be seen in the book "Miriam Haskell Jewelry", by Cathy Gordon and Sheila Pamfiloff, pg. 153. The necklace has been restrung for security by Millie Petronzio, Head designer for Haskell.

MIRIAM HASKELL NECKLACE, Early 1950s, Frank Hess. Dark Antique Silver finish on this Lovely older design. Eight Paper Clip chains, with weighty Floral stampings, Clear rhinestones, and Rose Montee's, with a Hook and Rondelle bead chain closure.

Bracelet to match is on page 180 of "Miriam Haskell Jewelry" by Gordon and Pamfiloff.

Marked on an applied oval on the center piece.
Measures 17" to the last bead. Center piece measure 2-1/2" long. Small portion of the Rondell bead chain replaced with new rondells by Millie Petronzio, Haskell's head designer.
Very Good Condition with some age to the Antique finish.

MIRIAM HASKELL NECKLACE, c.Early 1970s. Classic example of the Larry Vrbe era where old traditional design styles are enhanced with new materials. The bead strands are White and Yellow glass beads and the  drop is made with both glass and plastic beads. Strands are back strung.  Light, fresh, and fun to wear.
